Second to the textile department in terms of creativity, for me, would be the fashion design department this year. This category had very few students compared to fashion, textile and fashion marketing, but it revealed a talent that was highly inspirational and enriching.
Fashion Marketing and Merchandising put up colorful displays of the well-known brands in the country: April 26, Youth showcase music talent at Alhamra. With numerous avenues of collaboration opening up on national and international level, it is hoped that PIFD graduates will enter the local as well as global market whereby contributing new ideas and energies to it.

For instance, within the furniture design department, one of the students chose to revive traditional knitwear techniques via her work, whereas, another one chose to design her stools, tabletops and mirrors around the geometry of honeycombs.
